Calais Thomas from the Butterfly Pavilion will talk about the importance of pollinators, their threat, and how to plant a garden to help these tiny giants survive habitat loss and climate change.

Calais has been the Global Education Programs Coordinator at the Butterfly Pavilion since 2017, and she has been educating herself and others about animals for the past eight years. Calais has worked with animals ranging from elephants to snails and anything in between! At Butterfly Pavilion, her work in developing and leading programs onsite and virtually connects all ages to invertebrate animals.
