PROJECTS

Below is a comprehensive list of projects by the Estes Valley Watershed Coalition. Scroll through to see what we are working on now and you can review the flood restoration projects that were completed between 2015-2018.

Project Focus Areas

WATER

EVWC and our partners are continuing to work on streambank restoration, stabilization and river health in the Estes Valley. We have projects that continue to support our original flood restoration work in addition to other areas in the Valley. This work along our streams and rivers ensures resiliency and stabilization against future flood events. Click HERE to learn more.

Forests

We are partnering with four other Northern Colorado watershed coalitions, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the US Forest Service to make our forests more resilient, our communities safer, and our water supplies reliable by developing mitigation and resiliency projects. WILDLIFE

EVWC is working to help educate our community and visitors about local wildlife and their habitats. These projects include how to safely view wildlife, educational talks about the different species we get to interact with while living in the WUI (Wildland Urban Interface), and other projects to support wildlife in the Estes Valley.
