WWS Talk: Small mountain owls

Scott Rashid is the Founder and Director of CARRI where members research and rehabilitate birds.  Scott will be discussing the natural history of four small owls that nest in and around RMNP–their habitat and food preferences, nesting behaviors, and the growth of their young.  The following owls are the focus of Scott’s talk:  the northern Pygmy owl, Northern Saw-whet, Boreal Owl, and Flammulated Owl. Join us at the Estes Valley Library from 6pm to 7pm.
